Ein Break das Weihnachtslied anstimmt der Zauber uns gefangen nimmt. Hier um den großen Tannenbaum lebt er - der Weihnachtswundertraum.
In uns das Kind erwachen will - das sich noch heute - wenn auch still auf´s weihnachtliche Wiegenfest von Herzen freut - wenn man es lässt.
Lasst es nur zu - habt doch den Mut das „Kind sein" tut uns allen gut. Vergesst den Stress - nur Menschlichkeit ist Trumpf - in dieser stillen Zeit.
Waves Vienna is the city’s first club- and showcase festival. In autumn Vienna’s most significant clubs (Flex, Badeschiff, Fluc, Pratersauna), unique off-locations, and the public space will merge into the site of the Waves Vienna Festival.
Waves Vienna’s motto is „East meets West“; numerous international alternative, electronic, rock, and club acts will be performing around Vienna’s 2nd district. Additionally, local artists and sophisticated musicians from Eastern Europe form an essential part of the festival’s programme.
This year, Waves Vienna will welcome two countries as special guests. True to the motto “East Meets West”, there will be a focus on acts from Poland and France in the live programme. The Waves Vienna Music Conference will furthermore devote a part of its programme to the respective music markets and scenes of these countries.
The Waves Vienna Music Conference constitutes a part of the festival and offers the possibility to attend lectures and panels and participate in workshops. The subject-specific programme will deal with the topic „East meets West“, which will serve as the basis and inspiration for many years of pan-European cooperation.

The Waves Vienna Festival is organised by the Comrades GmbH. In the various areas Comrades works collaboratively with different companies and institutions; the conference is co-organised with MICA (Music Information Center Austria), concerning booking and concept development Monopol cooperates with Ink Music, a music agency, label, and publisher founded in 2001.

Having a strong background in electronic music for over 15 years, the well known upper austrian electronic label brings you dj sets on a regular base from their homies Ned Rise, nutrasweet, M-FX, Uciel and Thomas Saubermann. The main focus of the HOUZTEKK RADIO SHOW is presenting new labels, the latest relases and the party dates from the HOUZTEKK universe.
